Kauffman Featured Dave Koz & Friends on the “Summer Horns” Tour
Emblematic saxophonists Dave Koz & Friends featuring Candy Dulfer and Eric Darius brought his “Summer Horns” tour to Muriel Kauffman Theatre inside of Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Kansas City, MO on July 15, 2023. With their high energy and impeccable smooth jazz sounds, the trio dazzled a packed house of elated fans. The set included tunes from each artist—such as Koz’s “Together Again” and “You Make Me Smile”—along with a medley of classic hit covers. So much pure, unadulterated joy filled the theater, both on stage and in the crowd—have never seen Kauffman Center audience members so loud and beside themselves. It was the absolute best feel-good concert one could attend. Could totally live in a world here seeing, hearing and photographing this performance every single night of the week.
