Kauffman Stadium Played Host to the Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Poison & Joan Jett and The Blackhearts Summer Tour
The highly-anticipated stadium tour featuring rock legends Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Poison & Joan Jett and the Blackhearts finally commenced and stopped in Kansas City, MO on July 19, 2022. After years of pandemic-induced delays, the summer trek took course and rolled through Kauffman Stadium, home of the Royals. It was a monumental night not only because of the amazing line-up of artists, but also because it was only the second concert there since 1979 with the most recent just four years prior. As expected, fans endured the ever-emblematic sounds that defined both the ’80s rock scene and the decade as a whole when they entered the heralded gates at The K.
