Starlight Presents The Doobie Brothers with Michaeld McDonald in 2021

Legendary rock band The Doobie Brothers announced 23 additional concert dates for their 50th anniversary tour and will perform live at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. For the first time in 25 years, classic group member—and the voice of several hits—Michael McDonald will join Pat Simmons, Tom Johnston and John McFee on stage. The special outing so far has featured hallowed tunes such as “China Grove,” “Black Water” amd “Takin’ It to the Streets.” Opening up the night of music is The Dirty Dozen Brass Band with its unprecedented blend of bebop, jazz, funk, R&B and soul.

Tickets for The Doobie Brothers live in concert in Kansas City range from $39 to $175 and are available online through the venue website, in person at the box office or by calling 816-363-7827. Starlight Theatre is located at 4600 Starlight Road, Kansas City, MO 64132. Gates open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm.
