Arrowhead Stadium to Host Country Music Superstar George Strait

The “King of Country” George Strait is set to visit GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO on July 30. Marking his first live performance there since 2001, Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town will join him for the one-night-only concert. The 3-time CMA Entertainer of the Year has amassed more Platinum or multi-Platinum-selling albums than any other artist in country music and is only third to The Beatles and Elvis overall. With 45 chart-topping hits and a plethora of others in the Top 10 and 20, there is absolutely no shortage of signature tunes from his discography to entertain KC. In the 1980s, when country-pop crossover acts were dominating in Nashville, Strait was a pioneer of the neotraditional country movement. Fans can expect to hear such hits from the decade as “Ocean Front Property,” “Marina Del Rey,” “Amarillo by Morning” and “All My Ex’s Live in Texas.”

Tickets for the George Strait concert at Arrowhead Stadium cost between $92.00 for riser seating and $500.00 for the field with platinum options also available. You can find them available online via Ticketmaster, by calling 800-745-3000 or by visiting any outlet. Arrowhead Stadium is located at 1 Arrowhead Dr., Kansas City, MO 64129.
