Mark Knopfler to Perform Live at Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland
English rocker and former Dire Straits lead singer Mark Knopfler dropped summer 2019 concert tour dates in support of his ninth studio album “Down the Road Wherever.” The 28-stop trek kicks off on August 16 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT and is scheduled to hit Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland in Kansas City on Wednesday, August 28. Joining Knopfler on tour is his 10-piece band, including long-time members Guy Fletcher (keyboards), Richard Bennett (guitar), Jim Cox (piano), Mike McGoldrick (whistle/flute), John McCusker (fiddle/cittern), Glenn Worf (bass), Danny Cummings (percussion) and Ian Thomas (drums) plus new bandmates Graeme Blevins (saxophone) and Tom Walsh (trumpet).
Tickets for Mark Knopfler live in concert at Midland Theatre in Kansas City cost between $55.50 and $201.00, and are available online via AXS or in person at the box office starting at 10am on Friday, October 31, 2018. The Midland is located at 1228 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64105. Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm.
