Ameristar Casino Presented Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Live in Concert
Country rock group Nitty Gritty Dirt Band performed live in concert at Ameristar Casino‘s Star Pavilion in Kansas City, MO on July 8, 2023. Featuring founding members Jeff Hanna (lead vocals) and Jimmie Fadden (drums) plus classic member Bob Carpenter (keyboard), the band treated fans to a plethora of classics. Joining them on stage were Jim Photolog (bass), Jamie Hanna (guitar) and Ross Holmes (fiddle). The setlist included ’80s hit songs such as “The Long Hard Road (The Sharecropper’s Dream),” “Fishin’ in the Dark” and “Workin’ Man (Nowhere to Go).”
