Ameristar Casino Presented Quiet Riot with Rudy Sarzo at Star Pavilion

Iconic heavy metal band Quiet Riot performed live in concert at Star Pavilion inside of Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO on July 29, 2022. The show announcement was released upon the return of founding member and bass guitarist Rudy Sarzo to the group after 18 years. On stage with him were frontman Jizzy Pearl, guitarist Alex Grossi and drummer Johnny Kelly. An enthusiastic crew of hardcore fans turned out to witness greatness live and in person plus Sarzo’s long-time friend and KC’s very own Johnny Dare of 98.9 The Rock was in the house. Sarzo and Pearl gave lots of love to the city for all of their time spent here throughout the years. Quiet Riot made land slide in 1983 with its “Metal Health” album, which was the first metal album ever to top the Billboard 200. The record spawned the group’s biggest hits, “Cum on Feel the Noize” and “Metal Health (Bang Your Head).”
