Carlos Santana 2019 Tour to Celebrate the Anniversary of “Supernatural” and His 1969 Woodstock Performance
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Carlos Santana announced 2019 summer concert tour dates in celebration of 20 years since the release of his multi Grammy Award-winning album “Supernatural” and 50 years since his historic Woodstock performance. That landmark record topped the charts in more than a dozen countries and spawned the No. 1 singles “Smooth” and “Maria Maria.” Other major hits during his heralded career include “Evil Ways,” “Black Magic Woman” and “Oye Como Va.” Dubbed the “Supernatural Now” tour, the routing will hit 29 cities throughout three months featuring special guest and critically-acclaimed rock band The Doobie Brothers with a stop set for Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City on Thursday, July 11. A multi Grammy-winning band itself, The Doobies Brothers have an extensive discography featuring such hits as “Listen to the Music,” “Jesus Is Just Alright,” “China Grove,” “Black Water,” “What a Fool Believes” and “The Doctor.”
Tickets for the Santana concert in Kansas City are available via AXS or by visiting the box office. Venue presales begin at 10am on Thursday, January 24 with ticket windows opening to the public at the same time the following day. Sprint Center is located at 1407 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64106. Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm.
