Uptown Theater Set to Host Toto on the Band’s “Dogz of Oz” Tour

Legendary rock band Toto returns to Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO with its “Dogz of Oz” tour on March 29. The group last performed there on September 27, 2019 and was set to return last year, but the date was postponed when it joined Journey on tour and appeared at T-Mobile Center instead. As a Kansas City favorite, fans are thrilled to get Toto back in town up close and personal on the nostalgic Uptown stage. This time around, the lineup will still feature Steve Lukather (guitar/vocals) and Joseph Williams (lead vocals) along with Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (keyboards) and Warren Ham (saxophone/vocals), but will also include Steve Maggiora (keyboards/vocals), Robert “Sput” Searight (drums) and John Pierce (bass) as seen at T-Mobile Center. Toto’s multi-generational fanbase can expect to revel in the everything from the hits to rarely played tunes and even some acoustic renditions, including eminent titles such as “Africa,” “Hold the Line” and “Rosanna”—a most memorable night each and every time.
