Toto Returns to Kansas City for the Second Year in a Row with Uptown Show
Legendary rock band Toto returns to Kansas City for the second year in a row with a live performance at Uptown Theater on September 27. The “40 Trips Around the Sun” tour celebrates the band’s 40th anniversary and is its most extensive run in years. Last year’s performance at CrossroadsKC was absolutely electric and drew a jam-packed crowd, which stood shoulder-to-shoulder from the stage clear back to Grinders. The audience reveled in the everything from the hits to rarely played tunes and even some acoustic renditions, including eminent titles such as “Africa,” “Hold the Line” and “Rosanna.” Toto’s multi-generational fanbase will relish yet another thrilling live performance and most memorable evening as it has come to expect throughout the past four decades.
